SHIMLA 11 AUGUST 130kms.

Was a long slow wet day to Shimla which is at about 2000 metres. It took us about six and a half hours to do 130 kms virtually  all in the rain, the road was mostly one lane up the mountains and twisty all the way, but not nice twisty. Finally  got to Shimla and got a room and went were soaked and my passport was soaked, had it in my ''waterproof " suite and now is ruined.
Busy drying  out my gear now but the forecast doesn't look good for the next few days, so will decide in the morning where to go, if anywhere.
